About the company

Learn about our Goals as a company, and How we strive to achieve them

Core Purpose

Here at MoonWalker Incorporated, we hold the satisfaction of our customers to the utmost regard. It is our job to provide cheap, usable, and widely available manufacturing materials to anyone who needs them, sourced cleanly and responsibly from humanity's largest supply of resources: space. We pride ourselves on being able to save our planet's environment, and to do just that, we are wholeheartedly committed to the following standards, such that our products remain accessible to all:

Efficient Mining

We combine human-led expeditions alongside state-of-the-art technology in order to ensure that we excavate and harvest as much usable material as possible, never allowing any of the money you spend to go to waste.

Pre-processing

We take the liberty of handling any and all of the necessary pre-processing needed to transform raw materials into usable alloys and constructs, although if unprocessed regolith is what you want, that is also an option.

Timely Delivery

By constructing both the fuel for our trans-planetary crafts as well as the crafts themselves on site, we maintain Earth's natural ecosystem and transport our products ourselves, without having to depend on unreliable middle-men.

About the Founder

Take a look inside the mind of the person who started this all

Olivia Wilson

Olivia Wilson is the CEO/Founder of Moonwalker Incorporated, where she oversees all of the moon base operations, as well as the undertakings back here on Earth. “I am passionate about helping the consumer enjoy the benefits of resources that do not compromise our precious Earth environment”. With a focus on processing extraterrestrial material sources on the Moon, Wilson's mission is to create a sustainable and long-term future for planet Earth while capitalizing on resources from outside the atmosphere. Wilson previously served as a Public Relations executive for British Petroleum, where she oversaw numerous external and internal communications, advertising, and corporate relations for the energy company. After seeing the ravages that B.P. conducted on her native landscape and hearing of a possible manufacturing materials shortage through the news, Wilson left the fossil fuel industry to start her dream of Moonwalker Incorporated, quickly gathering a company together through her connections and skillset. Moonwalker Incorporated is dedicated to creating a brighter future for our home planet and beyond.

Company Timeline

See where we came from, where we are now, and where we plan to go

2023: International Climate Change Prevention Push

Stemming from their established pledges and targets meant to reduce emissions and preserve the environment, countries around the world started replacing fossil fuel dependent infrastructure with electricity dependent infrastructure wherever possible, switching carbon-based user equipment to electric alternatives on one end and producing electricity itself without fossil fuels on the other. This push would mark the beginning of a strain on Earth's materials like never before, who's effects can still be seen today.

2028: Viable Lunar Habitation Technology Finalized

Slightly ahead of schedule and not long after their successful Artemis I mission, NASA implemented their first permanent lunar outpost on the surface of the Moon, meant to accommodate astronauts for up to six months through solar panels, oxygen electrolysis, and food brought up on initial departure. This event sparked a new space race as other countries clamored to develop technologies of their own, such as methods of capturing Earth C02 for sustaining extraterrestrial plant life. These events would strain Earth's resources even further on top of what was already seen.

2032: Dangerous Strain on Earth Resources Announced

As a result of the increasing desire for materials due to the exponentially growing electronics and renewables markets, major suppliers came together and announced that they may not be able to match demand for too much longer. Due to environmental restrictions on emissions and extraction efforts in addition to the new space race, the mining industry on Earth predicted struggles at keeping up with the needs of humanity. Our CEO reports that this is when she first had the idea for MoonWalker Incorporated.

2035: MoonWalker Inc. First Established

In October of 2035, our CEO founded MoonWalker Incorporated as a private company, tasked with the goal of retrieving materials from space in a manner that was environmentally friendly to Earth. Specifically, sights were set on the Moon, as the closest and largest Near-Earth object. Alongside technology developed at the time which already allowed for the extraction of specific elements from the lunar surface, MoonWalker Incorporated began employing more and more specialists as well as people interested in moon life.

2036: MoonWalker Inc. Wins Case Regarding Legitimacy

Shortly after the first publications started reporting on MoonWalker Incorporated, speculation arose as to whether our mission statements were even legal to begin with, leading "moon conservationists" to take up a case against the company. In the end, MoonWalker Incorporated won the case on the basis that so long as moon materials were mined equitably, conscientiously, and without explicit territorialization, then the settlement, extraction, and commercialization of the Moon was legal under international UN policy.

2039: MoonWalker Inc. Goes Public to Major Support

After a very successful privatized run, MoonWalker Incorporated transformed into a public company in March of 2039 and was met with massive support from corporate, national, and consumer investors alike. MoonWalker Incorporated was the first moon mining company on the market and paved the way for others like it, and as such was able to receive funding for its activities far above what was initially anticipated. With this motivation, MoonWalker Incorporated grew like never before, expanding its ability to supply Earth's demands.

2044: Greenhouse Gas Emissions See Overall Decline

For the first time since the Industrial Revolution, global greenhouse gas emissions reach levels lower then years prior for more than a few years in a row, reassuring society that there is meaning behind its hope. MoonWalker Incorporated likes to think it played a significant role in this moment by starting the mass migration of mining to space, which has allowed for decreased emissions within Earth's atmosphere and simultaneous increased resource supplies for renewable energy sources.

2051: Status Today and Plans for the Future

Global greenhouse gas emissions are on the decline, material supplies are on the rise, and MoonWalker Incorporated has grown to employ over 1000 workers and supply over 250 unique businesses and depots, with all of these trends showing no signs of stopping. Without the efforts of not only our employees but also the countless other passionate folk who've paved the ways, MoonWalker Incorporated would never have been able to become the leading solely space mining company like it is today. We plan to hold this position for as long as possible, growing out business such that it may benefit humanity even more.

Employee Testimonials

Hear from our fabulous team About why they work for us

Tobias Modelo

Tobias Modelo is a long time worker for us here at Moonwalker Incorporated, serving as one of our dedicated miners on the lunar surface. Through his continued employment, Tobias has come to be an expert with the machinery found on site, skills he never could have imagined he'd attain given his degree and initially formal education. Although it was a bit hard to adjust at first, Tobias says he's found a second home and a second family within our company and on the Moon, and that he wouldn't give up the opportunities he's obtained through us for the world.

Brandon Reed

As a member of our website development and design team, Brandon works tirelessly to bring our company's important information straight to you, the valuable consumer. After witnessing the encroaching seas in his hometown of Half Moon Bay, California, he moved out to our American branch of operations in Texas in order to work firsthand with a company he believes will aid in slowing the deterioration of Earth's natural landscape. As he said himself, "Humanity has been treating the Earth like it's disposable for so long when that just isn't the case, and I believe the people here at MoonWalker Incorporated thinks the same way as me."

Myles Miller

Myles works as an astronautical engineer here at Moonwalker Incorporated, making sure everything we need to move to and from space does so safely. While working his previous job at SpaceX, Myles says he happened upon one of our data publications about how much Earth mining contributes to greenhouse gas emissions and how much our company saves by mining in space, which acted as his final motivation to switch over his employment. In his own words, "After seeing how many tons of black smoke industry here on Earth sends into the atmosphere just to turn a profit, I've decided it's probably a better idea to not just reduce our production, but to change our methods altogether."

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of mining on the moon? Mining on the moon would provide us with more resources such as neodymium and lanthanum (needed for technology like smartphones) and hydrogen and oxygen (needed for rocket fuel) to explore further into space and harvest resources for a more efficient use of labor, fuel, and materials.

How do I get a start in the industry – are there entry level positions? We are most often looking for experienced personnel, whether that experience be in aeronautical engineering or equipment operations, but we do offer positions directly to graduate students through our versatile graduate programs, so long as all of the necessary qualifications and requirements are met.
